- Designed and developed core product features for 911 Dispatch software that integrates with radio, phone, and pager communication devices.
- Implemented back-end business logic for numerous features using Visual C#.
- Wrote scripts in Python to address urgent customer concerns that could not wait for a separate product release.
- Implemented changes to the front-end design using XAML/WPF.
- Mentored an intern. While the Dispatch Dev Lead had a few tasks for the intern, I was often asked to assign her new tasks if she completed other tasks ahead of schedule. I was responsible for helping her to learn our build processes and provide guidance with our code base when she could not figure them out on her own. I was one of the engineers responsible for reviewing her work.
